Abstract Submission Deadline: August 15, 2018

Instructions:

  • Authors will be advised of the reviewers decision by October 15, 2018.
  • All presenters (poster or oral) are required to pay the full registration fee.

Note regarding Nomenclature: In an effort to raise awareness and improve consistency, a member of The International Committee on Standardized Genetic Nomenclature for Mice will be editing all submitted abstracts for the proper use of gene and protein nomenclature. No changes other than nomenclature usage will be made. Corrected abstracts will be sent back to authors for review. Please refer to the Mouse Genome Informatics (MGI) website for official mouse nomenclature, and the MGI Nomenclature Homepage under Additional Resources for links to the HUGO Gene Nomenclature and the Rat Genome Database websites.

Nomenclature for other species can be found at NCBI Entrez Gene. Student posters will once again be judged for nomenclature and a prize awarded for "Nomenclature Excellence".

If you cannot submit your abstract, please send it as a word document with all of the infomation needed (category, presenting author, if you are a student or postdoc, if this abstract should be considered for the trainee symposium in addition to the main meeting, and the format (oral, poster or either) for the main meeting) to imgsgeneral@gmail.com
