Travel Scholarships
Travel Scholarships are offered to trainees (students or postdocs) to participate in the IMGC.
The International Mammalian Genome Society Scholarships support meeting costs for students and postdocs. The scholarships will cover the cost of registration and a twin (shared) room for five nights.
To be eligible:
You must be a current IMGS member (memberships are complimentary; and as of 2025 are included in your conference registration).
You must have an abstract selected for a poster or talk.
To apply for the 40th IMGC/GMG2S in Seoul, Korea(April 18-22, 2027)
A) Send an email to imgsgeneral@gmail.com before December 1, 2026 containing:
1-Your name
2-Your contact information (Institution, address, email address)
3-Whether you are a Student or Post doc
4-Whether you identify as Male, Female, or Other.
5-Your supervisor/lab head’s name and email address
6-A copy of your abstract
B) Submit your abstract here before December 1, 2026.
C) Register for the meeting here before December 1, 2026.
Please use the registration option (waiting). If you are not awarded a scholarship, IMGS will invoice you for your registration fee.
A maximum of one IMGS scholarship (or equivalent if split) will be awarded per lab.
